Since becoming the first mermaid to swim the length of the River Thames, I have totally fallen in love with wild swimming. It makes me feel wonderful and it's community is just full of utter dream boats. I've even been asked to be the Outdoor Swimming Society's first Swim Champ. (Err, cheeks flush a shade of pink.)
So, I'm doing a tour of Britain's best wild swim communities as I pedal 750 miles up to the inaugural Scottish Winter Swimming Championship in Taymouth Marina.
I haven't lived in one spot longer than 10 months in the last 15 years, and I often don't know where I'm sleeping the next month, but I'm always fortunate to have a roof over my head. And, whenever I do emerge from my voluntary cold dip I’m always able to get warm afterwards. Many people aren't so lucky. So please help me, help Crisis to end homelessness and donate here.
