Meet Lindsey

Adventurer & Storyteller

G'day, Bonjour, Hello. Thanks for popping along here. My name's Lindsey and I like to do stuff. From running across the country playing the ukulele, pedalling my bike down the length of Africa to watch a football tournament, or wandering along a fence line retracing an incredible journey that inspired me from a book- whatever idea pops into my head I like to see if I can give it a go. Urban Mermaid

Whilst learning to free dive in Indonesia, I cut my hand on a small piece of plastic. I then realised that I was surrounded by loads of bits of plastic bobbing up and down miles from the shore. Walking into Jigalong with molly’s family

TRevor- my walking trolley

Meeting Daisy

Staying with Maria, Molly's daughter

Where it all started

2010: Cairo to Cape Town

Cycled from Cairo to Cape Town, 6500 miles to make it to the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

2012: Runkulele

Ran 250 miles to Manchester, carrying a ukulele to busk to earn my train fare home.

2013: Je parle Franglais

Roller-skated to Paris (even though I couldn't skate) whilst learning French on the way.

2013: TO BUDE in the Nude

Roller-skated 150 miles to see a friend in Bude, in a nude suit, because it rhymed.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
